Team met yesterday, Cristian Prosper and I prayed, and walked over to meet this mystery man Tobi from Beautiful Gate. Funny how small this place is. Tobi lives/works right above where Prosper lives a few blocks away. Tobi and his wife we're incredible people! Sooo loving and helpful. They wanted to know all about all of us before we talked any work. Then he listened to my heart and our minds on this project and gave GREAT feedback and support. He was even helping us cut down our mission to exactly what we're doing. Asking the world to abstain for sex during teh world cup. He laughed! Ha it's almost too simple and small. But it does exactly what you want the world to do! Have them ask why?
He given us outlines of buesiness plans and steps to get this all down as a team together of our plan, and how etc. So we're meeting today, tonight with web man ian and aibe on video.
I ran off after to doc in Fish Hoek. What waste I feel. I FINALLY have something paid for like the doc visit, to the RIGHT doc and he doesn't even look at me for my visa health check up, he just says, yep you're healthy, signs it, then touches my knee, moves it around and says, ok well I don't think we need to rush into surgery where it costs so much, and plus since you're not in pain I think you've helped heal this ligament. He thinks it's only a ligament that's taking time to just mend itself. SO, they set up appointment with specialist, WHICH will apparently cost 400-500 rand! THEN if I need surgery I don't even think or know if my insurance would or will cover it! What good is this insurance! And if not I still pay to have a specilist tell me so. Oh Lord please guide me!
God chest xrays, which again cost 400R for customs to extend visa. Insurance doesn't cover that one either. Yikes!
DId some grocery shopping, then as Lydia and I planned to have house neighborhood party last night, I came home, with our chocolate cheese and wine theme, we invited who we knew. It was awesome having people show up, our neighbors, we met so many jsut inviting who we saw! We probably had 25 people come through. I jus tloved seeing our friends, community mix and match. Some said I can't believe their's WYAMers here (like people who drink and smoke can't mingle with people who don't drink and smoke) it was so great to see lines blended together for unity. My french boys came and jammed and nearby neighbor from the states Lewis actually joined in he was amazing too! GOsh we had such a chill time, for no reason except to enjoy one another.
Thank you father for helping us be more like you, being among the people and reaching out in pure absolute love. Nothing less.
