Holy Spirit week Jason and Rina
There are 3 parts just as we mostly know:
God-in heaven
Jesus-@ his right hand
Holy Spirit-inside US!
This is why John tells us it's better Jesus leaves because this Holy Spirit came into us when Jesus died on the cross, now his spirit has arisen in our spirit. The Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is omnipresent, it's God's presence 'felt'
There are 2 spirits, Good and Bad.
-Good-
Holy Spirit
Angels
-Bad-
Demons and evil spirits
The Holy Spirit healing is seen different ways:
Miracle=instant
The rest which take time to grow in our spiritual gifts and abilities so be persistent! Just because it doesn't necessarily happen in an instant doesn't mean it's not a miracle.
One of the gifts: Word of Wisdom:
This is application of knowledge. So perhaps someone says that in their prayer they sense that someone isn't getting the right nutrients in their bodies so perhaps they should eat something different. They won't say, you're necessarily sick and have to do this or that and this is what God is saying but wants to at least share knowledge that could be useful in whatever is going on with that person and their walk with God.
We actually had this practiced in class. Jason casually asked the 2 birthday people, Pudu and Kenny to come forward to pray for them. As Jason and his wife got out their recorder to pray and hear what they felt God was speaking to them, they asked us as a class to also be praying to ask God for something for the two of them. It was really incredible!
It seemed to out of the ordinary and a strange time to be praying so casually, but it came out words and visions taht truly matched up with their personalities and where they felt called or needed to hear they were going in the right diretion. Others of us heard things for them too or even Bible verses to have them read. The most important part of it all, was to not just take everything as true. Jason reiterated that we need to seek the truth. 1 Corinthians talks about neeting to judge prophetic word. Jason nor Rina are God. So discern if that's really a message from them.
