Friday TGIF
Today we began the day by having this YWAM national prayer. The topic sent from Loren Cunningham was on China. We as a base whole came together this morning for opening our hearts and ears to what God is saying about China. The facts before we had intercession were amazing. SOmething like 1.3 Billion people living in China. People being persecuted NOW there for being Christians. Add the population of America, Canada and I forget what other 2 countries and you have the population of the amount of Chineese under the age of 23. The religion they have there, they keep and don't try to push it out to other countries. So there's this trapment. YWAM and other missionaries are in and out because sometimes at the blink of an eye, there's immediate danger with a leader here or there in the government wanting to act powerful and step into places, putting Christians in danger. There fore many have had to flee, especially to countries just outside of China, which has created this ministry along the borders of the surrounding countries.
Basically China is now the national Bank, and it's dominating in so many areas in the World as a whole. In fact here in Africa they're coming in and buying up much of AFrica. The problem is, is that the Chineese only wanna make more and more money. The youth are a generation of more electronics and money with a sad sense of nothing real.
This is a country that will be a huge catalyst for the world in no time. Growing and growing it's actually a bit scary. We need to reach that country and Chineese and get the gospel spreading. If this country is about to be the heartbeat of the world, they need to have breath in knowing the Lord to affect in good ways the rest of the world.
We prayed and man it was an awesome time of hearing the word of the Lord throughout our listening, then requests, then confirming what the Lord has and will do. It was something I wasn't looking forward to, and in the end had tears. Good morning.
We finished off with Michael's notes and summing up his point, and wow, what a man of character. God spoke CLEARLY to our class through him. Thank you. I'll share those notes asap.
I've got to a book report to finish this weekend and baking to start selling at the flea market and in church's for our outreach fundraising.
My team has definately started to see the real us. Just like families in your own home, the gloss has weared itself off and we're learning the really be relational. How to really LOVE and SERVE one another. It's been a beautiful and bickering process all in one.
I love them all of course, and know God's doing great things here.
My good and dear friend Ruan, whom I met on my flight here from Joberg took me to coffee in Kalk Bay today. Man what a great servant for the Lord. He's been following my blogs and praying and he even supports a couple here on base, and believe it or not, my windows in my very own room were much supported by Ruan and his base church. Thank you so so so much! What a servanthood your church has grown. I'm so blessed, and the time was absolutely a treat. Thank you for your time you took out to share with me and help me along with my path and the vision and view of your country better.
Lost stirring inside,
Love you
