What my dad wrote me...I couldn't have said it better
Dad, what you wrote, is fully what God's put on my heart from the beginning. Thank you for seeing it through God's lenses and not human. I want to go this direction
So where do you go from here? Do you feel that you should support these groups, or do more of your own thing and seek their support? I wonder if there are enough non biblical approaches out there and maybe you should focus on a biblical approach. The bible says God's word is never void. I guess that means it is filled with impact. We don't always see the impact immediately, but need to trust in God's promise and His word. So, if you're trying to influence people, especially those who haven't come to Christ yet, I wonder if that might be a good approach. There are groups out there working on human trafficking, and prostitution. We want them to be successful. They are doing good things like bringing awareness and cautioning people. That is all good. I wonder if someone needs to change the hearts of people who seek to deal in HT and prostitution. I think your desire to push abstinence is wonderful. I wonder if while you are doing that, you plant some seeds to bring people to Christ. Maybe then, we'll see a change that will effect the world. I don't see the possibility of much lasting change in the world if we use the world view to influence people, but using God's word and sharing Christ, can change the hearts of mankind.
