Saturday night catch up...too much

My job's only beginning. I'll try and tell logistically what's happened so you can track my past week. LOADS going on.
I'm at the base on this Saturday night, the SBS crazy class in the room next door singing and dancing to some game celebrating their ending of the old testament. My roomates Lydia, and Elise and our neighbor Janika went out for Indian food here in Muizenberg to celebrate Elise' 21st. I swam earlier, well tried this jogging in the pool, oh man i need to get this surgery thing done. Before that I spend about 5 hours spreading this dream/passion for this abstain campaign.
I met with this infamous Nk from CCFM, this local Christian radio station where they're totally connected and do so much especially with the youth. We had met for tea at 10:30, and he said he expected to hear me talk about some Christian abstain message and then in a short while, after being bored, we're done. It was 2 hours later, he was gripped by the ideas, concept and passion. He even helped me ask the important question of are we asking EVERYONE to abstain from sex? Married people included? Is this for everyone during that 1 month of the world cup? He's right we need this pinned down to simple concept, simple answer of this crazy abstaining from sex for a cause. For awareness and for protection of our world. I think it's fabulous. He also challenged me with many great questions of where we're at, where we're going, the right way to to about this and that, how to ask people from grassroots level, YWAMers, youth groups locally, and get this message out through the already abled grassroots, free. He's completely right. Don't waste too much time trying to hit the big hitters and big names including government when time's ticking. Youth with do this and form the roots we make noise! But he also said to know what you need and want and come to people like me asking this of me and that.
I understand him but this is why I said I needed to talk this over with you because I wasn't sure the exact goal, not professional yet, hardly a team, and you wanted me to be interviewed on CCFM? That's why I need to tell you where I"m at and ask for input, advice, help! He was on board. It was awesome to hear him and I need these networks. He talked about doing sponsored adverts etc. THEN he said, I know this sucks but could you just tell this all over again to our radio man Foze? I said I'd love to. Honored to tell people this 1 hour it seems mission, goal, ideas of campaign. I went, met this awesome guy and chatted for 2 more hours and sold him on God's vision he's placed on me. It means so much to get such reactions, and excitement with me, ideas flowing. He's saying things like, Cape Town's not even a problem to get message, think and look beyond. He said you need me to help you get plugged in this and that and radio stations here and churches and governemnt there, in Johannesburg. I was loving his reaction! THis all went so fantastic and the support and enthusiasm was what I needed. Plus their networks and connections. Foze already wants to start small, while I'm growing with website and more that I should bring message in on this Thursday night they have a thing for youth called Ladies Corner. He wants to just interview me, where I've been , use soccer, and how there's value etc., and link it into my project of this campaign. He wants me to meet this youth leader here and there, and possibilities of this parliament and pastor alogn with FIFA leaders prayer day. SOoooo much!
I am completely excited, but also overwelmed. They both saw how I need so much support! I need a team I nee more of me. I asked how the heck do I have the time as well as others who are busy governemnt people etc., to sit with me and hear this whole hour of passion poured out. It works to get them to se emy vision. So I need to get a better way to narrow this all down into a simpler way to spread the knowledge.
I had this same experience this week on Tuesday night when I spoke of thi smessage to joelle from Ambassadors in Sport, her co-worker, Job from OM and a few more in the TUG, The Ultimate Goal national convenors. They grasped it! They believed in it more than ever. Joelle was saying, WOW it just makes so much sense, of how to make change, to involve these networks already inabled to spread the message of abstinence and support them. She's like, it's so hard to understand in just this little email. I KNOW I told her.
Also more great things going on, I went to the TUG meeting Thursday to meet more, spread what I was doing, get networks, etc. Was great! I may go to this pastor's teaching conference wed/thurs if I can get a ride. It would then have me to network with all of them. I was linked in with this nationally well-known man named Errol Naido I keep hearing his name and how he works in parliament and also a great pastor. Emailed him concept, we'll see what happens. Thursday, we met with this guy Ian from my friend Ketani from media village, and this guy Ian is going to be nicknamed 'super man' because he is the media, marketing, graphic saving grace! He's music director of his church in Fish Hoek Full Gospel, he's into and works for a graphic, web place. He's into music, talented in so many dang things! He and ketani came and met with Cristian, me and our more than prominent than ever partner Prosper (he's helping out now for sure, amen!) and told him ideas, heart of abstain campaign and more. I wasn't sure how he was taking it all in, and then he was like, no no I'm just overwelmed because I have so many great ideas! He is cool! He's like we can start with simple t-shirts just wearing those around that say abstain or something that people can ask what it means, we're walking statements and walking ads to talk about. Like John Lenon and Yoko. I thought yes!
He's thinking with me on the whole getting a large banner and hanging it from a building or the waterfront with just the website on it.
He's got ideas for website! Him and Ketani threw around ideas for graphic, website entrance, etc. I love it! I'm just so happy that he's happpy! He was thanking us that he could do somethign for the world, and creative outside his boring job!
Thank you Lord for brining Ian into our lives!
I went to base worship Thursday just completely skipping around! Prosper and Cristian were skipping too I believe :)
Over the internet, my teamate from my DTS, Daneeka has told me she's excited to tell me, God's been telling her to stay long erin South AFrica. She feels called to work with me til the end! YES! Another teammate when she returns! Oh amen! She's crazy and passionate and it's all so exciting! She's like I don't know how with I mean, without funds, but God will supply! That's right!
AFter base worship I met up with my friend Dave from Empire Cafe and he opened cafe late night just to cook me some dinner, we walked around Muizenberg, his original stomping grounds for years giving me the history etc. Was a great finish to the night!
Friday, met with my team Cristian and Prosper in the am. yes we meet at 9 and pray, and this morning, I was alreayd up unable to sleep so at 7:30, was writing up what needed to be done, allocating jobs I thought they would like and be able to handle to Prosper a list and Cristian. It was wonderful because they actually looked really excited in their roles. Thank you Lord for helping lead me to lead.
I'm feeling more than ever, the more we grow, that I'm going to be the leader. This is my dream and baby whether i like it or not.
I ask God, NEVER to make me forget it's HIS dream and it's because of HIM it's going to happen. God I need direction to be a great leader, to cater to everone how he wants me to.
This organization I'm bascially creating is all on my shoulders. It's also moving and not going to slow down for anyone with the pace we need especiallly to make it kick off! This message will get out, and yes just as my dad reminds me, even if I help 1 person, it's worth it all.
It was wierd, I talked with Lena from my DTS Swaziland outreach team. I called them and they were eating dinner in Kruger National park and it was just so surreal. Like it was great to hear from them and their stories, but I just couldn't imagine having gone with them. God knew all along.
Last night I tried to come to base to get things done, emails, skype etc., and there was a nations to nations dinner and so much commotion it ended up me talking all night with people. BUT was good connecting like my friend Andrew with this and that and spreading more of my dream to others.
WOW, this has been lots and so much has been going through my head since last time I wrote, it's too bad I couldnt' record more often. BUT, let me just say God's moving. Even when I think I am doing nothing, or NEVER Enough, he's working.

I miss you all! I'm so sorry if you feel neglected by me and not talking or calling, but it's just so so much. I need to sort out a visa still to extend stay, a license, Prosper's trying to find a car to invest in, which will cost money. Oh man. It's going to happen.
