Oh how it's been...

I'm sorry. I have been trying to get onto this computer to write things to not only do my book report and journaling, but also update last week's speaker. Today, the most important day to get stuff done, and I can't even get online til now! No where in this town was there internet!!! Just very frustrated. I'm sorry.
I had sucha high last week with getting all my funds in and having such a great response from not only my family and friends but the church. Just the gracious love I've received from everyone not only financially but with their kind words and encouragement. You have no idea how encouragement feels, especially across the world.
SO, update on the knee and all. Well, was trying to get ahold of my insurance all week to tell them they haven't processed my visits latey and FINALLY reach them today, oh what a hassle without a phone using someone else's phone card (looking into cheap cheap sim card to finally get one I'm so frustrated and feel annoyed using so many others phones) but once I reached them, my insurance is sooo screwed up. It's really too long to explain between seeing Dr. Chuller I was told to see from YWAM, and then this insurance I was told I should get from YWAM, then it doesn't cover Chuller, but Chuller's apparently free? Then my visits to the strange physio in Wineberg who wasn't helping, claimed the payments went through, now ironically 2 different people received texts on their phones from the physio for me to say that the claim was rejected and I own Dr. Harris 600 rand! Yes it's a mess and I can't see a doctor because I don't know if I should see Chuller or get the right doctor my insurance covers since I already had x rays and what not from Chuller. Oh it's gonna sort itself out, but basically did some fax stuff to insurance to try and at least cover what I did already with Chuller, and Brian one of my leaders got me an appointment Monday with Chuller because he has to go see him anyways, and knows him, and says we'll see Chuller and go from there since he knows my situation and helps YWAMers out.
Knee still isn't right then I guess is what I should have said before all this moaning. It feels good, then I go downhill, and I can feel it coming. I was feeling good for like 4 days strait, nothing but walking and swimming, then I thought I'll try light job on a strait stretch, and I totally felt it go bad. Yes pain that I know I could live with, but not if I wanted to run and play soccer.
Sooooo, do I get surgery while I have insurance? Do I really need surgery? Do I get it while I have time if recovery is 3 months, so I don't wait another 3 months, then do it? What can I do on my outreach? What is my outreach? Yes our team is struggling with locations.
Our heads aren't down, we just know that God shut the book on what we were going to do at places like Steinkopf and Bulembu, and shut those doors for something greater. We're praying and contacting places and bases. Details to come.
So I've been trying to put my heart into this team, but not sure even where I'll be physically, so trying to sort this out first.
What else has been going on?
OH, Monday there was a break in on our base. Yes over night someone off base stole things like money from the cookies we were selling, some girl on my team's clothes that were hanging out on our line, my 2 jersies I was trying to raffle off for outreach fees, and I think a few others thigns. It stirred a few up, we had to get window fixed, but it's really common especialy towards Christmas I heard.
This week is on Destiny by Design. Very good, but hard to concentrate with so much going on and outreach things starting to take over all our time and my knee, doctor, gym, physio things are taking time that create NO TIME.
I did get to go out all day Sunday into Cape Town. Mike from Africa Soccer took me all around. Signal Hill, drove all around Green Point, Camps Bay and all around. We went to market in town, then he took me to a cafe, showed me where his new office/pad is in town to film at, went to meet his friend Craig from African Brother's Academy, which by the way is an amazing set up for this academy, but Craig wasn't there and heard he needs to much help. Really cool though old tennis courts all empty and spray pained walls and goals, gosh what a great idea! He needs more help by the way, it's an idea...
We also met up with a new partner for filming from the South American filming side for this projects in SA up and around WC 2010. Luis was an inviting funny man :) Sitting at his pad where he'd literally just gotten off the plan, he had drinks and was doing business while I did my thing, then when the guys were done, we walked down the street to this awesome restaurant called something like Cuba something, or dang I forgot but it was cuban or some south american, but basically it was Sunday night salsa night. Oh it was hopping and the Chelsea game was on tv. Those guys treated me well, then Luis got a bit tipsy and I was tired, so Mike took Luis home, drove me past Long Street, then home.
Alright, caught you up very shortly, but I gotta get going on my homework, I meet with my one on one tomorrow. Love you will work on more posts if internet cooperates.
Dad, so glad you're feeling better, and you too Kale.
Mom, hope shopping went as great as it sounds and you and Shelly were relentless! :)
Love you all!
Happy Birthday Grandma!
