Reflection on week on relationships: conclusion
In light of what I learned in class about dating, relationships, sex and marriage I learned to look into my own boundaries and absolutes.
With boundaries, I've learned from my past that creating boundaries with your partner before I start a relationship is everything. For me how far to go really depends on my partner. If he can't kiss without desiring more, then I will want to value his boundaries. I remember what Lindsey said, that let such an impression was this:
Imagine right now, those of you who are or even aren't married. Picture your husband or wife even JUST holding hands with another man or woman. Yes not you but another. Not kissing or cuddling, but holding hands. For those especially married it should make your cringe. It makes me cringe. Now take that and apply it to a relationship. How far is too far? Well if you don't have that covenant with YOUR life partner, then it may make you think about how to act and be with that 'partner' at the moment.
Oh I have to go to the game, but back later to tell more!
