Lecture continue on Grace...

Chris continued.
Romans 5:12 He compares 2 groups:
ADAM CHRIST
Born Born again
Sin righteousness
death Grace
condemnation forgiveness
judgement justification
free gift
Wow what lists! Amazing what we've been granted through faith.
It continues with scripture.
Ephesians 2: 2 groups of people: Dead vs Alive
John 3: Child of Wrath vs Blessing
Revelations: Unbeliever vs Believer
Chris traced this back to the conversation about babies and mentally disabled people. Which category do they go under? Do we believe that the wages of Sin is death? God is Justice. This isn't wrong, it's just. Look at children. Sin appears in a child. Not even tought. Evil does come out. This proves that we're born with a sinful nature. We can thank Adam for that beginning of sin and death.
Chris says, God I don't know why this happens, but I know you're good and I trust you with those of the category we're not sure of placement in heaven or hell. We need to trust God. We need to grasp that if someone has sin and dies, that they go to hell. God is still good though because he is Just. He never changes (seeing repitition here)
This then motivates me and hopefully you! Go! Motivate and share faith. Hell is so real. People don't get saved without Jesus. Jewish poeple don't believe Jesus came. The Bible says we're not saved though without the Messiah.
Last point here I wanted to share, was an interesting tie in that Chris pointed out. He first asked, What category does Jesus lie in when he was a born. Just an 'innocent' baby as we are right? Wrong. When Jesus was born he was born a virgin birth. No Mary and Joseph didn't get freaky, she just WAS pregnant. This means that Jesus bypassed 'Adam' with this virgin birth. I thought that was totally cool to think. He really is the salvation. He even showed that through him, through this virgin birth, we're saved. Sin missed him and with Him sin can miss us. We can and ARE saved!
