Outreach calling...intercession this morning

I just got back from my run, had some of the Brazilians coffee and I now prepare myself for morning intercession with our team.
A bit of fear sinks in because I'm still new to this concept. Reaching, praying out to God as a group for a humbling calling. We look for his word and perhaps visions, whatever form it may be of God speaking to us. Last week in the very middle of our prayers and shouts was when the accident happened on base with the death, so it's a little strange.
However, I love most about YWAM that it's a relationship with God that I feel I've always had and wanted more of. So personal and it's all about him and his word. If God is directing 'the group' not just the leaders in a direction, we follow. They just keep saying get in devotion and listen to God. Spend time and hear him.
We need to very soon figure out where we as a team, or a few teams will be doing our outreach (last 3 months of service of this school) so that we can prepare in all ways to go. The few ideas placed upon our group because of already a little calling and preparations already taken place for a good set up are human trafficing and prostitution in Thailand and then our other leaders Bryan and Thandi hear a voice to go to perhaps Kenya.
They ask us to ask God for direction and a place for our calling. I don't know if it's because of the talks about Thailand from others lately who have been going in teams to Thailand, but I woke up this morning asking God, ok what was it that I dreamed about last night because lately I've been remembering my dreams.
I have this memory of me telling people I was going to Thailand. Specifically my aunt Susan and Bob, I was telling them I was going to Thailand and what they thought about it. Very strange. I woke up in a bit of fear it's just a dream and also fear because I'm not so sure I want to go there. But, that's what prompts me to look into Him. It's not about me. It's about him.
I hope you all have a wonderful day, I love you. Mom, I was wondering if you wanted to know the books I'm going to be reading here, follow along and read the same to sort of have this connection from accross the world?
First book for my book report is the one written by the founder of YWAM. It's by Loren Cunningham called Is That Really You, God?
Good Morning!

  1. I would love that Noel. I've heard of the book because of reading about YWAM.
