We just had base intercession. We prayed and sang songs trying to listen and dive into God's heart. This time we were praying a lot for India and surrounding people in that area. I guess government in the the Himalayas area and villages have had most of the missionaries kicked out of there. Currently there's very few christians left and it's also now I believe from what I gathered, illegal to be there especially as a missionary. So we prayed for different types of people. My group prayed for the Nepalis in the small Himilaya areas.
We prayed for the people to fight against their strong spiritual strongholds they have. We prayed for the current few Missionaries for support in them to spread the gospel and for the ones out there to be called to that area. Give people boldness to follow their call.
We also prayed for the government and political aspects of this country to help get God into that world to effect the country from the top down with the Holy Spirit doing wonderous works.
I've heard plenty of stories already of people who felt called for some crazy reason to a place, or country, and like this lady for instance showed up in India, and right when she got off the plane, this man walked up to her in astonishment and said, I've been having this reacurring dream of you. You were going to tell me about his GOd I want to know about. That happened to her, a girl from YWAM, 16 days in a row with 16 different people all randomly approaching this girl. Amazing what works God stirs up before we even know it.
Please keep that country and people in your prayers as well.
