Little Update after weekend

man so much again to update on, and last week's lecture on Evangelism, but at least it's a start.
Not sure if my church got my letter I wrote along with the little slide of our DTS team to watch. Hopefully you did, so I could at least convey my gratitude and excitement together. Things have been great here, but so overwelmed with ideas and goals that I wanna start now, or can't wait til March, or even can't decide which one is for me! Which passion, which road, which organization! The more I dig the much more problems I see and bigger issues. But it's beautiful to be here!
Today was finally filled with some sun and no rain. However the wind I think has permanently left me leaning sideways.
Walked to Fish Hoek to check out this church called Full Gospel. Was pretty nice. Then I was going to check out these few organizations that this new friend of mine works with but my outreach meeting, which I MUST go to, crept up on me too soon, so I couldn't go with him. But was good to swap ideas and organizations to research.
Update on the knee? Let's just say, one day I can walk, and then sometimes at the end I can't walk by the end. I've been only walking all week since the pool's been too cold. But I'm really learning that downhill, or stairs, biiiiig no no on the knee. I even have some swelling now on the outside or maybe it's a little bit of fluid. Who knows, anyone a doctor reading this? I've emailed the sports institute to get in there perhaps this week.
What else can I quickly talk about... NZ I'm proud you've made it to World Cup!!! in Almost 30 years! I can' twait to see you guys here!
I went to a braai last night, met a few good people. It's nice to get out of this place and in a vehicle once in awhile.
I've been walking and in the past few days, I saw 6 wales one day and 5 the next. Incredible! And they were so close to shore! The other day I was walking by some of the mansions on Boyes Drive, and I turned to my right, and right directly on the other side of this fence and there's this bare butt or a baboon literally 2 feet away! He was munching on some pine cones! I love this place!
Week's been interesting with outreach team's figuring each other out, having meetings, already having some of our first conflicts and dealing with them to help us grow. Friday morning meeting went totally in the craziest but most powerful direction. One of us spoke out something hard on her heart and it rippled into others confessing and expressing things in their hearts tha tperhaps they didn' teven know they were holding onto. SUPER liberating and beautiful at the same time. We all had tears!
Took the liberty of having a cooking party friday. Well baking in the kitchen for more fundrasing. YES I was baking and they were my ideas! Quite happy, not sure they tasted the best, but it's fundraising and my efforts showed :) We had some fun!
Man, feels like so much to say and I'm lost at the moment, I'll get into some of my written stuff over the week,
