Late Late Monday night
I'm exhausted, but feel I might as well publish something for at the bare minimum, something my mom and dad can read tomorrow when they wake up. :)
Today was an exciting day, I enjoyed my walk with plenty of praying in the morning for ALL of you and more I hope! Yes Andie, know it!
We then had base intercession, and it I felt, was realy helpful. We prayed for the coming term. New DTS team, new staff, new locations for people to go, outreach which is MY team!!! It was really cool and it's nice to come together as a base and a body of Christ and reveal what God is saying.
This week we're learning about the Holy Spirit. Oh man it's exciting already to see the speaker Jason and his Wife Rina, teaching, but more so, we're learning together. We prayed for our leader in front Paul, because he's been sick (we know it's from the dang stress he has with getting out funds together, not having it all in, 90,000 rand left, and buying things like injections and passports. I'm included on my funds) but he asked a few to come up and feel the guts to speak out in boldness of the holy spirit to heal Paul.
It was unique and powerful, and Paul was quite touched. He didn't expell that he's fully healed, but this sense of peace that he really needed had come over him. Amen!
Then it was also Pudu's birthday and Kenny. We had them go to the front and Jason and Rina wanted to pray for them, but more so prophesy. It was so cool! They recorded it saying that it was quite important to have it to listen to to remember, or have someone who has the gifts of interpretation to listen, and more. This is because you can't take everything as factual. If a man comes up to me and says God told me you're going to marry me, I'm not gonna go out and buy a wedding dress.
God says pray into it, seek wisdom in what prophesy we hear. So the words came out and even many in the class had visions and pictures, some songs for the two we were prophesying over. The point was to be bold and step out in faith that it is from God because you never know what it means or if someone else is feeling the same picture, or words or even scripture from God and it really helps this message become clear.
Swam again today in the beautiful weather, but pool was quite busy with these crazy people called, Life Saving. They train and yet are like life gaurds, I'll never understand that.
We are getting to celebrate thanksgiving here on base Thursday as a whole. It's gonna obviously be put on by us americans, so at least we won't be without.
I must get to bed. I pray for such a clear message from God for my path ahead. To know which direction to take for the next 3 months, is so so on my heart not only logistically wise, but passions wise as well. I think I may need to try the injection in my knee because it's not feeling different, and who knows if I need surgery, and how much that would cost, and safety and if even best to do it now or wait til after outreach? So much unsettling, but it's day to day and I'm only mist. :)
Good Night!
