Hello everyone this is the first start of the blog to my trip to the motherland for me, South Africa! It's all becoming so real that I'm actually going. My dream for 3 years now to be there, not exactly at this time and purpose, but quite possibly even better. I've received emails from the base and my friend Kim who's already there right now doing other work, and said the place is just humming with excitement. Kim also said we're going to have one of the largest classes to come through. YES!
Finalizing seeing fam and friends is never easy, but sharing what the Lord is placed before me is an incredible way to share. (I've only just discovered)
My hometown Rainier Community Church of God has wholeheartedly embraced me and and my trip to be my support group :) I can't thank you all enough for it. I honestly and feeling quite overwhelmed and it can only get greater with the what lies in the future.
Update on my visa....yes I think some have heard for Bre and I it's up in the air. But this wonderful lady on the other end of the phone in LA, has told Bre and I to enjoy our weekend with our family and friends because it's all going to work out and we'll received our study permit's by Friday. Please keep that swift mail in your prayers.
Oh man it's getting hard to sleep!
